FlowMaxx Pro Quaternary Diaphragm Pumps
Highly accurate, the FlowMaxx Pro Quaternary Diaphragm Pump range is from 1mL to 360L per minute across six sizes. Standing out from the rest, FlowMaxx Pro allows the user to integrate both a flow and pressure sensor, providing real-time insights into both flow and pressure rates. Each pump can be configured as either single-use or multi-use, and are designed to work in tandem with PSG Biotech’s Quattroflow pump heads.
The front of the pump features an enlarged, HMI touchscreen, which provides users with options to run their pump in multiple modes, including PID control, time dispense, volume dispense, and continuous. There is no metal-on-metal contact, and FlowMaxx Pro provides low pulsation, a high turndown ratio, and low heat generation. Users can enjoy quiet, walk-away operation when the pump is in use.
Stainless Steel Harvest Cart
Recently upgraded in 2024, their Stainless Steel Harvest Cart provides a process-minded solution for managing your 2D media & buffer bag storage. With the goal of eliminating awkward handling, the expert team at HPNE has designed the Harvest Cart with a welded, stainless steel frame that has been optimized to take up minimal floor space without sacrificing bag volume.
Each shelf of the Harvest Cart is able to hold 50 liter bags, and is sloped at an angle of five degrees to improve fluid drainage. Additionally, each shelf features a notched outlet space. The separation of your bags drastically reduces the chance of contamination. Custom models can be designed to order with a variety of additional features, including heated shelves, bigger wheels for additional stability, and more.
The Harvest Cart has two rigid and two swivel-lock washdown castors, and the user has the ability to lock the wheels. Due to its strategic design, the Stainless Steel Harvest Cart is ideal for a wide range of applications including media storage, bioreactor harvesting, sampling storage, buffer storage, and transporting 2D bioprocessing bags.
Sterile Individually Packaged Components
In addition to their single-use assembly service, HPNE also offers Sterile Individually Packaged Components. What makes this service unique is that products or components received for packaging are individually double-bagged once sterilized, meaning you can remove a single part without sacrificing the sterility of the other parts in the lot.
Available for any part, and any quantity of parts, the Sterile Individually Packaged Components can be gamma, autoclave, or ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilized. Based on your needs, they are able to package both a single part as a repeated group, or multiple parts to make up a process development kit.
By allowing products to maintain their sterile status even after a part is removed, users are able to create greater efficiency and flexibility throughout their process. Sterile Individually Packaged Components are able to be used in any area of bioprocessing, from research and development to fill-finish.
Biosinker Pro
HPNE’s Biosinker Pro Tube Weights were also significantly upgraded from their previous model in 2024. With a new compact design, they can fit in both standard 53B and 83B bottles. The signature pointed tip of Biosinker Pro Tube Weights allows you to maintain optimal position, depth, and flow of your tubing.
By adjusting the quantity of stainless steel ball bearings contained in the tube weight, the team at HPNE can fine tune each Biosinker according to the liquid it will be submerged in. Ball bearings are housed in an internal cavity, meaning there is no product contact. They are both USP Class VI compliant and ADCF. Customers can receive their Biosinker Pro weights sterilized or non-sterile.
MaxxMover
Most cleanroom environments have encountered the challenge of relocating heavy equipment mounted on wheels. Recognizing this challenge, HPNE developed the MaxxMover, which effortlessly transports heavy bioprocessing containers like nitrogen tanks and drums, and other cylindrical equipment.
The welded, stainless steel frame helps to protect the equipment, while simultaneously being easy to clean and completely sealed - ideal for a sterile environment. The large wheels prevent shimmying during transportation, and allow for smoother handling.
MaxxMover works seamlessly with the MasterMover Electric Tugs carried by HPNE, allowing your organization to move equipment up to 26,000lbs with a single operator.
This innovative solution can be used in a multitude of applications including handling disposables, moving liquid nitrogen tanks, transporting barrels with fill-finish application, and unloading one or more barrels.
Additional Distributed Products from HPNE
As mentioned above, HPNE is constantly striving to meet every customer's unique needs. This means that beyond their in-house manufactured products, they also provide a wide array of distributed products from reliable life science companies with years of experience in bioprocessing.
To ensure your process runs smoothly, they offer solutions for all stages of the bioprocess: lab and drug discovery, upstream bioprocessing, downstream bioprocessing, and fill-finish.
Pump Solutions
In addition to FlowMaxx Pro, HPNE offers a range of pump solutions. Firstly, they carry various sizes of PSG Biotech’s Quattroflow Quaternary Diaphragm Pumps, as well as their EZ-Set Pump Head Chambers, which can be changed in as little as 30-seconds.
For repeatable dosing for low-to-medium flow at low-to-medium pressures, try their VerderFlex Vantage 5000 Peristaltic Pump from Verder. The pump has extensive memory capabilities, with the ability to store up to 30 dosing programs. It also provides accuracy within 1%, and a 4000:1 turndown ratio.
Finally, for precision dosing on a smaller scale, HPNE carries PSG Biotech’s Quattroflow QB Pumps. Delivering high precision and functionality, as well as a self-priming design, the pumps eliminate risks of cross contamination.
Sensors
Designed for single-use bioprocessing applications, HPNE carries a range of sensors, including flow, pressure, UV, and other sensors. With their robust engineering, they allow you to stay on top of process parameters.
Distributed from Krohne, one of their more popular sensors is the Electromagnetic Flow Sensor. Full bore with no obstruction, the sensor flow path allows for minimal hold-up volume. For non-invasive flow measurement, they offer the Non-Invasive Ultrasonic Flow Sensor from PSG Biotech. It has a small, space saving design, and up to seven calibration tables per sensor.
Storage & Handling
From electric tugs to bioprocess containers, HPNE is equipped to handle all of your storage and handling needs. As mentioned while discussing MaxxMover, they carry a range of Electric Tugs from MasterMover, helping to reduce the stress of moving heavy equipment around your facility.
The SM200+ Battery Powered Electric Tug allows for precise movement of loads up to 4,400lbs, even within tight spaces. Manufactured with high-grade 316 stainless steel, the tug is ideal for cleanroom environments. There are a range of coupling options available based on your specific needs, and the tug provides high levels of traction on all surfaces, including wet floors.
Need to handle heavier equipment? The MT20/1200+ SS Electric Tug is able to move up to 26,000lbs. It features a hydraulic coupling point, and does not require a license to operate.
In addition to electric tugs, HPNE offers a range of media & buffer storage and bioprocess container solutions from ALLpaQ.
Our plastic tote range from ALLpaQ allows you to usher in a new era of fluid management. Their Cleanroom Bioprocess Containers come in a range of sizes, and are made to accommodate bags from most 3D bag manufacturers. They are collapsible and stackable for easy warehouse storage.
For bag tray storage needs, they offer the 2D Bag Tray, 2D Bag Cabinet, and UV Stabilized 2D Bag Tray, which eliminates the threat of cellular structure damage with features like exterior handles and sliding access panels.
