Smithfield, Rhode IslandHigh Purity New England (HPNE), a leading supplier of single-use solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry, has officially kicked off its 20th year in business. The company, which was founded by CEO, Mark A. Sitcoske, has now grown to more than 200 employees, represents 18 brands for distribution, and manufactures 12 of its own HPNE branded products. On a consistent growth trajectory for the past seven consecutive years, the company has soared in growth since 2019, increasing manufacturing capacity and headcount exponentially. HPNE has three facilities in Northern Rhode Island just 45 minutes south of Boston. Most recently, the company has been awarded a $15 million BARDA contract to open their fourth facility, which will continue to propel the company forward in terms of future growth.

HPNE originally started as a distributor for innovative bioprocessing products that supported upstream, downstream, drug development, and fill/finish applications. In 2010, the company branched out, creating their own line of custom single-use assemblies – what would later become their first of many new manufactured products. In addition to their single-use assemblies, HPNE has expanded their product offering over the years to include pumps, mixers, bioreactors, and storage and handling equipment, as well as may other single-use solutions. Throughout the month of March, several initiatives are planned to celebrate and mark the milestone, including interviews, events, and other celebratory projects.

As the industry needs grow, HPNE continues to supply the biopharma and biotech industries with a range of innovative products, from drug discovery and development to fill-finish, including their flagship product, custom single-use assemblies, as well as pumps, mixers, and other single-use solutions. HPNE proudly supports numerous companies working on vaccines and therapeutics in the fight against COVID-19.
