Smithfield, RI – High Purity New England, a leading supplier of single-use solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry, announced today that its founder and CEO, Mark A. Sitcoske, has been elected to the Bio-Process Systems Alliance (BPSA) Board of Directors. After two voting periods in a contest that included many other eligible parties, Sitcoske was elected.

BPSA was formed in 2005, as an industry led international industry association dedicated to encouraging and accelerating the adoption of single-use manufacturing technologies used in the production of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. The board convenes four times per year, with adjunct business meetings on a monthly basis. BPSA currently has 60 corporate members and is the primary industry association for the single-use industry. High Purity New England has been proud member of BPSA for many years.

Speaking about his election, Mark A. Sitcoske stated that, “I was glad to be considered and chosen for the position, considering the competition for the seat. I am honored to be able to work with others in the industry to facilitate the development and manufacturing of safe, sustainable single-use technologies.” With more than 30 years of bioprocessing experience, Sitcoske has built HPNE into a company of more than 170 professionals dedicated to advancing single-use solutions in the biopharmaceutical industry.

As the industry needs grow, HPNE continues to supply the biopharmaceutical industry with a range of innovative products from drug discovery and development to fill-finish, including their flagship product, custom single-use assemblies, as well as pumps, mixers, and other single-use solutions. Along with their own manufactured products for the global market, they are a distributor for more than 18 brands in North America. HPNE proudly supports numerous companies working on vaccines and therapeutics in the fight against COVID-19.
