Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible to design, develop, test and maintain HPNE electrical equipment. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing the electrical equipment, using SolidWorks to produce schematics, and overseeing the design and installation process of the designs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Draft electrical schematics using SolidWorks EE and DraftSight EE
  • Establish communication and access relevant information from various pressure, flow, temperature, conductivity,
    leak, level sensors and scales/balances from various manufacturers to the drives
  • Wire the products based on schematics, and work with other team members to wire products
  • Write and validate quality check plans for hardware
  • Interact with customers on requirements and troubleshoot product issues
  • Create product documentation and records
  • Prepare cost estimates to be shared with customers
  • Inspect electrical components during and after the product installation
  • Test electronics for problems and propose solutions
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering and CEO for the overall benefit of the organization

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Electrical and wiring experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Required to sit, stand, walk, and move around the warehouse
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in conditions where the noise can be loud, and temperature can change depending on the outside weather
