We are seeking a passionate, motivated Biopharma Sales Engineer to join our ever-growing team. This position is responsible for driving growth within our company and providing high level service to maintain customer relationships. This role requires someone who can thrive while working independently and who is eager to continuously learn in an ever-changing industry.

High Purity New England is a distributor for more than 20 international brands and a manufacturer of our own single-use assemblies, ready-to-use systems, & bioprocess solutions for biopharma companies around the world.

 

Reports To: Director of Sales

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization’s overall market and growth strategy
  • Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace
  • Proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity at key accounts
  • Regularly report on the progress of acquired business to senior leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to seek out and identify new sales opportunities and build relationships with long term partners
  • Providing technical support and field application support to HPNE customers
  • Participating in industry events and trade shows
  • Conducting on-site demonstrations
  • Maintaining an updated and accurate CRM
  • Maintaining strong cross-functional relationship with key stakeholders in other departments
  • High-level of correspondence with HPNE’s customer base including
  • Generating qualified leads
  • Managing existing accounts
  • Ad hoc Projects as needed

 

Requirements include:

  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Technical degree preferred but not required
  • 5-10 years of sales experience preferred but not required, ideally in the pharma, biotech, or life science sector
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as a team with other peers
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
